1. To Work Hard to Secure More High Paying Jobs in Our District
I recently had the opportunity to meet with Mr. John
Bass and other Executives who are with the Mississippi Manufacturing
Association. They expressed their interest in bringing new jobs
to our area. I will work with those necessary to make this happen.
I will seek spin-off manufacturing jobs from Toyota while taking full advantage of the Governor's Economic Development Initiative. I intend to utilize every opportunity we have. I will seek help in this matter from our Congressman and two U.S. Senators. I believe I have the youth and the energy to see this vision fulfilled.
As a School Administrator, I personally met with Mr. Dennis Parker with Toyota. I am looking forward to implementing Toyota's Educational Tools to succeed in Engineering, Science, and Technology Careers; which are: "Quest" and Project "Lead the Way." We have a great school system and a fine community college where our children can receive an outstanding education. My goal is to see our children excel in the educational field and then have the opportunity to attain the "American Dream" right here at home.
